A few weeks a go I spent a long weekend in Amsterdam with some friends. We had really beautiful weather and I was shooting with a new (to me) Canon SureShot. I was pleased with how lots of the photographs came out, so I have left them unedited - unheard of for me.
Our Amsterdam Round-Up
The botanical gardens are a must; Besides the plants there were some beautiful butterflies.
The most delicious fries I have ever eaten were had here - non-negotiable.
Anne Frank’s House is poignant and difficult to visit but you definitely should- make sure you book online first.
A’DAM Lookout was great fun, if slightly terrifying, and an amazing way to see the city.
Our favourite lunch was at The Grasshopper - it doesn’t look much but the location is fantastic and the food was yummy too.
While we visited there was a Rembrandt exhibition on at the Rijksmuseum but there is so much to see here anyway that it is worth a visit.
We walked everywhere; the city is so small that it is best to see everything on foot or, if you’re feeling brave, rent a bike!
